We held our Eastern Secondary Market Conference and Annual Convention June 22-24, 2022, the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, Orlando, Florida. We have the secondary conference to bring together those with interest in the secondary market that includes economic updates, investments, QM, Non QM, servicing, MI, capital markets, etc. The conference is strictly for education with a trade show of about 25 vendors to provide time to showcase their programs and products. We include networking time for the attendees. During the Annual Convention portion, we conduct the business of the association and elect the officers. The attendance are the association members, non-members with interest in the success of the mortgage banking industry. At the business meeting we provide association activity reports from the committees, including the treasurer providing a financial overview. We also provide two days of educational sessions / classes relevant to the industry and can also possibly have a motivational program.
