Francis Wilson Playhouse (FWP) was one of the earliest non-profit community performing arts venues in the area. FWP has provided quality theatrical productions every year since it moved into its current location in 1936 . FWP offers 7 productions annually including a mixture of musicals, drama and comedy and 4 concerts. Productions are usually presented for 2 or 3 weekends and are very popular with the community and attended by a very loyal audience providing a high attendance rate with many performances sold out. The price of attending performances has remained affordable and continues to be one of the valued priced tickets in the area. In addition to providing quality and affordable entertainment, the playhouse offers opportunities for non-professional actors, dancers, singers, stage managers, crew, and theater technicians to pursue, enjoy, and develop their theatrical interests.
