Music education programs are focused on artistic excellence in order to foster the personal, intellectual, and social growth of children. Visual art offerings for students of all ages include workshops, and classes in a variety of medium including drawing, painting, and comic book drawing. Instructors for music and art teach at more than a dozen locations throughout Mecklenburg County and virtually. Need-based financial aid is available to students who qualify, in addition to merit-based scholarships.

Outreach Programs: Art+'s outreach programs consist of a variety of music, choir and art education programs in at-risk communities and schools, at no cost to the participants. Programs include Project Harmony, which is an El Sistema based after school orchestra program, ArtsReach, which partners with community organizations to provide visual art and music programs in neighborhoods of need, Studio 345 which is a youth development program that utilizes digital media arts and Preschool Outreach Programs, which provided literacy-based education to preschoolers and their caregivers through visual art education.
