The Ocala Sypmphony Orchestra is Marion County's premier cultural arts organizaqtion. With the Reilly Arts Center as its home, the symphony completed its 47th season in 2022-2023 with six full orchestra subscription series concerts and several special themed concerts during the year. In addition, the orchestra hosts an annual Young Artist's competition and runs the Ocala Music Conservatory, a music school open to all ages. Through donor support need based scholarships are also awarded for youth to take music lessons offered by our professional teachers and musicians. The organization also produced and welcomed a variety of live music and cultural arts performances throughtout the year at both the Reilly Arts Center and its sister facility at the historic Marion Theatre located in Downtown Ocala. The Marion Theatre also hosts regular second run movies at affordable prices for the whole community.
