PROVIDED SOCIAL SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY IN THE FORM OF FOOD, CASE WORK, AND DIRECT FINANCIAL AID TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES CONSISTING OF FOOD AND REFERRAL SERVICE TO OTHER AGENCIES. 19,886 PEOPLE RECEIVED TEN DAYS' WORTH OF FOOD INCLUDING MEAT, FRESH FRUIT AND VEGETABLES, JUICE, CEREAL, AND PASTRIES FROM THE JERRY DOLINER FOOD BANK. 79 JEWISH ELDERLY, 80 YEARS OR OLDER, AND RESIDENTS OF ASSISTED LIVING OR NURSING HOMES WERE PROVIDED WITH GIFTS AND LUNCHES.1,032 FAMILIES RECEIVED HOLIDAY MEAL BASKETS FOR EASTER, THANKSGIVING, AND CHRISTMAS, AND 162 CHILDREN AND TWEENS RECEIVED 455 TOYS OR GIFT CARDS FOR CHANUKAH AND CHRISTMAS.INDIVIDUALS ARE PROVIDED ASSISTANCE REGARDLESS OF THEIR RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION.
