Equine-Assisted Therapies of South Florida delivered a total of 5,925 hours of service to children and adults with special needs across Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties. The mission is delivered through four different programs - Therapeutic Riding, Hippotherapy, Unmounted Horsemanship, and Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy. A new program was launced amount the volunteers and nonprofit groups called Equine-Assisted Learning to provide opportunities for personal development with horses for individuals, groups, and organizations. In 2022, the Organization hosted its first Horseshoe Hoedown in person since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic with over 160 supporters in attendance.
