THE LEE COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION LAWYER REFERRAL SERVICE HANDLES ALL LAWYER REFERRALS FOR LEE COUNTY. PARTICIPATING ATTORNEYS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT AN EXTENSIVE APPLICATION TO THE SERVICE AND THEY MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE FLORIDA BAR WITH NO PENDING PROBABLE CAUSE COMPLAINTS. REFERRAL SERVICE ATTORNEYS ARE ALSO REQUIRED TO HAVE PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY INSURANCE LIMITS OF NOT LESS THAN 100,000. THE LCBA LAWYER REFERRAL SERVICE HAS ALSO ESTABLISHED A LOW FEE PANEL FOR CLIENTS IN NEED. IT CONNECTS THE PUBLIC WITH QUALIFIED ATTORNEYS. PRO BONO LEGAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS.
