Driven by the vision that a safe and affordable home is the foundation for a better life and lasting change, Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Serving Pinellas, West Pasco, and Hernando Counties, the organization empowers families earning 30 to 80 percent of thearea median income to achieve homeownership. Volunteers and future homeowners work side by side to construct homes, which are sold and financed with zero-interest loans. Candidates demonstrate need, ability to repay, and a commitment to partnership by completing homebuyer education and actively participating in building their future homes and strengthening their community. (Continued on Schedule O). Mortgage repayments are reinvested to build more homes, multiplying community impact. Last fiscal year, Habitat for Humanity partnered with 88 families who built and purchased their Habitat home.
