Member Services and Programs- EWPBF is a membership organization serving executive women in Palm Beach County. Dues cover the cost of the foundation administrator and some general expenses. Programs are offered throughout the year for networking, education and community engagement. The program revenue covers the cost of the programs and provides some revenue to cover organizational costs. A large contributor to revenue each year is the Women in Leadership Awards (WILA) Luncheon. The net proceeds are used to support the organization and to fund grants and scholarships.

Scholarships - Honorary Chairs of the WILA have endowed scholarships by contributing $25,000 to establish ongoing $1,000 scholarships. Other honorary chairs have funded $25,000 for self-liquidating scholarships. As of FYE 6/30/25 there were 10 endowed scholarships and 4 self- liquidating scholarships. Two members directly funded scholarships outside of the honorary chair program. A Pathfinders Scholarship is granted is funded annually from WILA net proceeds. All restricted funds are held in a separate investment account and the funds are invested following an asset allocation approved by the board. Community Grants - Proceeds of WILA and directed donations by members fund the Lois Kwasman Grant and the EWPBF Community Outreach Grant(s) each year depending on the funds raised and contributed. The grant recipients are selected based on an established submission and vetting process.

Women in Leadership Awards - An annual celebration of women in leadership in Palm Beach County occurs each spring. Women in the private sector, public sector and the nonprofit sector are honored along with an emerging female leader. The luncheon is an inspirational event with a keynote speaker and serves as a vehicle for outreach to all business sectors of the community. Nominations are gathered from the business community, they are vetted, and an honoree is selected for each category. Proceeds are used to support programs for members and the community plus support scholarship and grant programs.
