FOR THE PERIOD FROM JULY 1, 2023 TO JUNE 30, 2024, VOICES FOR CHILDREN FOUNDATION PROVIDED FINANCIAL AND OTHER SUPPORT TO SERVE A TOTAL OF 2220 MIAMI-DADE COUNTY DEPENDENT CHILDREN PLACED UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES (DCF) AND CITRUS FAMILY CARE NETWORK. THESE CHILDREN WERE PROVIDED WITH LEGAL ADVOCACY AND OTHER TYPES OF SUPPORT FROM CARING, COMMITTED ADULTS INCLUDING A TOTAL OF 545 GAL VOLUNTEERS WHO SERVED 803 DEPENDENT CHILDREN, 48 GUARDIAN AD LITEM PROGRAM, STAFF WHO SERVED 1,417 DEPENDENT CHILDREN AND YOUTH. DURING THIS TIME PERIOD, 90 NEW GUARDIAN AD LITEM VOLUNTEERS WERE RECRUITED.
