Science Programs - provide hands-on science educational opportunities for low-income youth in both urban and rural areas to increase the opportunities of students entering competitive academic and work markets with marketable skills. The Science Clubs meet at after-school programs, community centers, and libraries where the children are guided through experiential learning experiences correlated to the current school curriculum. The Environmental Ambassadors is a 5-week summer program which teaches youth to be stewards of the environment, while also teaching basic job skills, teamwork, and community service. Youth involved in the Environmental Ambassadors program include students who are under-represented in gifted programs, students not reading on grade level, and economically disadvantaged Black youth.

Wilhemina Johnson Resource Center - CAC is the facility manager of the community center. The center offers a wide variety of programs and activities such as the Science Club, the Science Bus, the Youth Advisory Council and the Environmental Ambassadors. Additionally the center is a source of space and resources for community members such as Three Rivers Legal Service who offers free civil legal aid and education, Working Foods, Black Farmers Association, and other community events.
