Wild Amelia - The purpose and goal of the program is to educate and enable citizens in the protection of the natural habitat on Amelia Island and greater Nassau County, Florida. What is beautiful, citizens want to protect and keep beautiful. The purpose is achieved thru education and exposure to the natural habitat. Activities include an immersive experience for fifth grade students in the Ron Sapp Egans Creek Greenway and various state parks in Nassau County, Wild Nite Nature Presentations for adults, a Jr. Naturalist program for youth, Nature Photography program for youth and adults, and a ten-day Wild Amelia Nature Festival.

#RefillNassauFL - A program to educate and enable education on the reduction of single-use plastic. The program includes a limited edition, reusable, infinitly recyclable 16 oz aluminum cup, education on recycling, the reduction of single-use plastic, and the sustainable use of water as a natural resource, and the use of a Water Refill Station during events and festivals in Nassau County, FL, specifically in the City of Fernandina Beach. The program promotes a QR code that launches a webpage hosted on the www.KeepNassauBeautiful.org website. The webpage includes graphics, sponsors, and educational information specific to the objectives of the program. In 2023.2024, more than 50K infinitly recyclable aluminum cups were distributed by KNB, and the Water Refill Station was utilized during 14 events and festivals leading to the reduction of single-use plastic.

Planting Nassau's Future - The primary purpose of the program is to beautify spaces in Nassau County, Florida. As the eastern gateway to the sunshine state, Keep Nassau Beautiful aims to preserve our beaches, greeen pastures, timberlands, and the beautiful spaces in between. Weather events, age, and incresing development can impact these environments. Planting Nassau's Future is a program that will make an impact now and in the future. Since the program launch in January 2020, the program has enabled the planting of more than 5500 trees across Nassau County, Florida; 920+ in this fiscal year alone. Most recently a project, Gardens of Amelia, was launched to raise awareness of the unique horticultural collections of Amelia Island, Florida. Partnered with ArbNet, Keep Nassau Beautiful is assisting public and private property owners in Level I Arboretum Accredidation and listing with the Morton Registry of Arboreta.
