Mission

THE CATHOLIC FOUNDATION BUILDS A CHRIST-CENTERED FUTURE FOR THE GOOD WORKS OF THE CHURCH IN NORTH FLORIDA THROUGH INSPIRED CHARITABLE GIVING. THE CATHOLIC FOUNDATION WAS INCORPORATED IN 1987 TO PROVIDE AN ENDURING SOURCE OF MONETARY SUPPORT FOR THE ENTITIES WITHIN THE DIOCESE OF ST. AUGUSTINE AND SERVED BY THEIR PARISHES, SCHOOLS AND MINISTRIES. MANY OF THESE PROVIDE SERVICES AND SUPPORT TO THE BROADER COMMUNITIES IN WHICH THEY OPERATE. THESE INCLUDE SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AND SUPPORT ESPECIALLY FOR THE UNDERSERVED AND THOSE AT THE MARGINS OF OUR SOCIETY. THE CATHOLIC FOUNDATION OFFERS EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE TO BENEFACTORS WISHING TO MAKE LASTING LEGACY GIFT PLANS OR INVESTMENTS TO ITS PERMANENT ENDOWMENT. SERVICE AND SUPPORT TO HELP DONORS REALIZE THEIR PHILANTHROPIC GOALS IS A CORNERSTONE OF OUR WORK. WE REGULARLY PROVIDE GUIDANCE TO THEIR PROFESSIONAL ADVISORS WHEN MAKING SUCH PLANS OR WHEN THEY COME TO FRUITION. THE CATHOLIC FOUNDATION ALSO DEDICATES SUBSTANTIAL FINANCIAL AND HUMAN RESOURCES TO PROMOTING CURRENT AND DEFERRED CHARITABLE PLANNED GIFTS TO OUR CONSTITUENTS - DIOCESAN PARISHES, SCHOOLS AND MINISTRIES. THESE BENEFIT FROM ANNUAL FUNDING FROM THEIR RESTRICTED FUNDS AS WELL AS PROGRAM GRANTS. EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT AND OPPORTUNITIES ARE PROVIDED THROUGH THE FOUNDATION'S WEBSITE, SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE REGION, INFORMATIONAL NEWSLETTERS AND PAID ADVERTISING ON THE LOCAL AND DIOCESAN LEVEL.
