In pursuit of its vision of mutual helpfulness, the Legion expends monies to support various charities, including the Veterans Memorial Committee, Alachua County Veterans Advisory Board, The VA Fisher House Foundation, Wreaths Across America, University of Florida ROTC, three local high school ROTC programs, Homeless Veterans Stand Down, VetSpace (for Homeless veterans). The Legion was unable to perform these activities in TY 2022 due to financial hardship.
