GLOCAL VENTURES INC. COOPERATED WITH LAO CAI DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING TO LAUNCH THE "IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICE FOR ETHNIC STUDENTS" PROJECTS IN BAC HA AND SAPA. IN 2024, GVI HELPED BUILD NEW BATHROOMS, LATRIENES AND SCHOOL FENCES BENEFITING 850 BOARDING STUDENTS AND STAFF AT FANXIFAN, BAN PHUNG, NAM MON, AND THAI GIANG PHO SCHOOLS. THE FLOURISH PROGRAM OFFERED COACHING FOR TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATORS ON INTRODUCING AND EVALUATING LIFE SKILLS FOR THE ETHNIC STUDENTS AND FORMING A GIRL CLUB AT THESE SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE LIFE SKILL AND HYGIENE TRAINING FOR FEMALE BOARDING STUDENTS, IMPACTING 1,350 STUDENTS AND STAFF. 90,000 MILK BOXES WERE ALSO PROVIDED TO 450 STUDENTS AT THAI GIANG PHO SCHOOLS DURING THE YEAR. IN 2024, GVI HOSTED A GENERAL EDUCATION TRAINING CONFERENCE FOR 350 TEACHERS IN LAO CAI DISTRICT. THE CONFERENCE PROVIDED TRAINING ON INTERACTIVE TEACHING METHODS AND STRATEGIES THAT PROMOTES STUDENT CENTERED INSTRUCTION IN THE CLASSROOM. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HANOI NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, GVI ALSO HOSTED ITS 20TH SPECIAL EDUCATION TRAINING CONFERENCE WHERE 300 SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS AND EXPERTS IN THE FIELD PRESENTED INFORMATION AND TECHNIQUES THAT WOULD ENABLE THE TEACHERS TO CARE FOR AND TEACH STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES.
