American Legion Post 903 purchased a former Church & Rectory and plans on turning the Church into a veteran museum & Education Center, The lower floor of the Church will have a café where Veterans can socialize as well as provide space for fund raising activities. The Rectory will house offices for the post as well as other Veteran organizations at no charge and will also house homeless veterans on the upper floor on a temporary basis. The property however needs extensive upgrades. The Cafe also will offer to veteran families, free of charge, the cafe for bereavement luncheons for Veterans who have died.

American Legion Post 903 normally provides ceremonies during the year commemmorating various military holidays including grave flag replacements, ceremonial flag disposal, veterans day activities etc. Due to the Covid virus, many of thos activities were cancelled but we were able to participate in the Monroe County Veterans Day Parade in November, a flag disposal ceremony was held in September, and two flag replacement events in the spring & Fall. Other ceremonies such as Memorial Day and Vietnam Veterans Day ceremonies were cancelled.
