The expenses for our monthly programs, not counting mailing the announcements, are the honoraria for the speakers. In 2020 we had only one meeting before COVID shut everything down, so the speaker's fee for the year was $25.00. The annual dues which we had collected at that meeting covered the expense. [The mailing expenses for the February meeting and the planned March meeting (which was cancelled a few days before it was scheduled to take place) were also $25.00, for the two sheets of stamps and the printing costs.]
Southwestern did not feel safe in sponsoring a tour in 2020.
Southwestern did not receive any requests to sponsor historical projects in 2020, but we understand that we will receive a project proposal in 2021.
