THE HOME REPAIR PROGRAM FACILITATES CRITICAL HOME REPAIRS AND HOME MODIFICATIONS TO LOW INCOME HOMEOWNERS. THE ORGANIZATION WORKS WITH AN EXPERIENCED NETWORK OF CONTRACTORS TO CARRY OUT THESE REPAIRS. ELIGIBLE HOMEOWNERS ARE REFERRED TO THIS PROGRAM FROM CHURCHES, HOSPITALS, COMMUNITY LEADERS, AND OTHER HUMAN SERVICE AGENCIES THROUGHOUT THE TRI-COUNTY AREA. TO RECEIVE ASSISTANCE, HOMEOWNERS MUST RECEIVE A COMBINED MONTHLY INCOME THAT IS LESS THAN 50% OF THE AREA MEDIAN INCOME. HOUSEHOLDS HAVE EITHER A CHILD, A PERSON WITH A DISABILITY, OR AN OLDER ADULT. IN 2024, THE ORGANIZATION ASSISTED 81 FAMILIES WITH WHEELCHAIR RAMPS AND 83 WITH CRITICAL HOME REPAIRS.
