Fayette County Animal Rescue is a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter serving Fayette County, Tennessee. Our primary focus in helping animals in extreme cases of abuse, neglect, injury, or abandonment. We offer refuge, medical care, and a second chance at life with a responsible family. FCAR is also about educating the public about the responsibilities of pet ownership i.e. spay and neuter, annual vaccinations, and regular flea and heartworm prevention. Our shelter houses any where from 70 to 100 animals. We have managed to have the younger animals and puppies fostered to socialize them and make them better for adoption. All contributions are used to pay for the overhead, maintenance, and veterinary bills incurred by our organization.
