Grant Funding Secured (Barnes Housing Trust Fund Round #15): On May 7, 2025, the Barnes Housing Trust Fund Commission approved additional grant funding to support three (3) homebuyer projects. The funding was designated for the following donated lots at 169 Old Hermitage Ave.: 169(A), 169(B), and 169(C)to be developed into three (3) affordable housing units. Homebuilding & Sales Production: LDC successfully built four (4) homes and sold two (2) homes at the following locations: - 229 Center St., Old Hickory, TN 37138 Closed March 4, 2025 - 8 Cannon St., Nashville, TN 37210 Completed May 28, 2025 - 1601 Wheless St., Nashville, TN 37208 Closed June 10, 2025 - 2115 Dabbs Ave., Nashville, TN 37217 Completed Sept. 27, 2025 Contract Execution: LDC received a fully executed contract for 8 Cannon St., Nashville, TN 37210 on December 29, 2025. Community and Economic Impact: Through community engagement efforts as of 2025, LDC has helped over 20 individuals become business owners through our Mindset Change Entrepreneurial Program. Holiday Outreach: On December 14, 2025, LDC hosted its 3rd Annual Christmas Kickback at Bradley Academy (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Murfreesboro, TN). The event provided Christmas gifts to 24 children and lunch for more than 50 low-income families.
