NDTC provided dog training educational opportunities to NDTC club members and to the public. These classes and seminars were designed to prevent cruelty to dogs and to teach owners how to work with their dogs and create well-behaved and well-socialized dogs. All classes and membership meetings were held at the club's rented location. Classes were taught entirely by volunteers. NDTC offers five 6-week class sessions every year and has 12-15 class offerings each session. Additionally, the club offers multiple weekend specialized training seminars during the year.
