THE OMEGA MEN OF NORTH ALABAMA (OMNA), INCORPORATED IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED OVER THREE DECADES AGO IN MADISON, ALABAMA WITH THE MISSION TO ENHANCE THE LIVES OF THE RESIDENTS OF NORTHERN ALABAMA. SINCE ITS FOUNDING IN 1994, OMNA HAS BUILT COALITIONS WITH OTHER CIVIC-MINDED ORGANIZATIONS TO STRENGTHEN THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC WELFARE OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY THROUGH ACTIVITIES RANGING FROM MENTORING PROGRAMS TO PROVIDING A COMMUNITY CENTER WHERE LOCAL RESIDENTS CAN MEET, PLAN, AND EXECUTE CIVIC EVENTS. WE SERVE THE COMMUNITIES OF MADISON, JACKSON, MORGAN, AND LIMESTONE COUNTIES AND CONTINUALLY SEEK WAYS TO SERVE AND UPLIFT. PARTNERED WITH OMEGA PSI PHI FRATERNITY INC (HUNTSVILLE ALUMNI CHAPTER) TO SELL TICKETS FOR ANNUAL CASINO STYLE FUNDRAISER TO SUPPORT 7 SCHOLARSHIPS FOR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS TOTALING $10,000.00 ALONG WITH SUPPORTING THEIR YOUTH MENTORING PROGRAM. OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDED OMNA PROVIDING CLOTHES & TOYS TO THE HOMELESS, YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, SOCIAL ACTION AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH. CENTER WAS USED FOR SEVERAL REPAST EVENTS. IN ADDRESSING THE NEEDS OF A GROWING LATINO AND VIETNAMESE COMMUNITY, OMNA HAS PROMOTED COMING OF AGE CEREMONIES SUCH AS THE QUINCE NERA AND VIETNAMESE ANNUAL CHARITY FUND RAISER (NEW YEARS EVENT YEAR OF THE SNAKE) TO SUPPORT ADOPTED CHILDREN USING OUR COMMUNITY CENTER. OUR OFFICE HOURS AT 181 IMPORT CIRCLE, HUNTSVILLE, AL 35816 ON TUESDAYS, 4-8 PM; THURSDAYS, 1-5 PM; FRIDAYS, 1-6 PM AND SATURDAYS, 9-3 PM. TELEPHONE AT 256-859-3766. OUR OFFICES ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAYS, MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS. THE OFFICE IS LOCATED WITHIN THE OMEGA CENTER IN MADISON COUNTY, AL.
