IN ADDITION TO FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES, IT ALSO PROVIDES EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONSE, RESCUE RESPONSE, AND GENERAL DISASTER RESPONSE TO THE RESIDENTS OF DESOTO COUNTY. IT ALSO PERFORMS FIRE PREVENTION SERVICES INSIDE THE PRIMARY RESPONSE AREA INCLUDING STATION TOURS AND FIRE PREVENTION EDUCATION SESSIONS AT LOCAL SCHOOLS.
