Grants received provides resources for improvement of the Williams Academy Black History museum historical displays, help fund traveling exhibits, special event sponsorships and activities hosted at Roberto Clemente Park. This grant helps Lee County Black History Society (LCBHS) provide high quality cultural and educational events, programming, and exhibits that develop and entertain participating community members. Events and programs are designed to unify the community so that people can enjoy a greater standard of, purposeful, and fulfilling life. Approximately 2200 people participated in the programs,events and activities.
