LIRN PROVIDES A LIBRARIAN SERVICE, WHICH PERMITS MEMBERS TO SHARE THE COSTS OF ACCESS TO TRAINED PROFESSSIONALS IN LIBRARY AND INFORMATION SCIENCE. THE LIRN LIBRARIANS OFFER REFERENCE SUPPORT ASSISTANCE FACULTY COLLABORATION PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EFFECTIVENESS REVIEW AND ACCREDITATION SUPPORT. LIRN IS CURRENTLY SERVICING OVER 334 MEMBERS AT MORE THAN 662 LOCATIONS. A SIX YEAR RESUME SHOWING STUDENT PARTICIPATION IS AS FOLLOWS: 2018 - 288603, 2019 - 221105, 2020-225885, 2021 - 243412, 2022 - 245198, 2023-253415 THE CONSORTIUM HAS CONTINUED TO ATTRACT NEW MEMBER SCHOOLS. TRAINING PROGRAMS FREE WEBINARS BOTH FALL AND SPRING HAVE BEEN ATTENDED. A VIMEO CHANNEL WITH PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE TRAINING MATERIALS HAS BEEN CREATED. THERE IS A CONSTANT REVIEW OF DATABASES APPROPRIATE FOR THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS OF THE SCHOOLS INVOLVED. THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THIS SERVICE. THE LIRN ANNUAL MEMBERS MEETING WAS HELD ON DEC 13 2023. NO GRANTS OR ALLOCATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE TO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS AND LIRN HAS NOT PARTICIPATED IN ANY LOBBYING ACTIVITY.
