We hosted the first-ever KINGDOM GAMES in Cuba. The youth baseball tournament attracted 160 participants, 50 volunteers and spectators from the local community. The purpose of Kingdom Games is to share the love of Jesus Christ through sports. The weekend long event was a gigantic success: 56 children gave their lives to Christ and 32 were baptized in the Caribbean Sea. All the glory goes to God! We served 5 meals: lunch Friday, Saturday and Sunday and dinner Saturday and Sunday. Meals were provided for all participants and the volunteers, about 210 people in all. The Saturday dinner featured a 100lb pig roasted.

CCB Bible Training Center in Pucallpa, Peru was founded in 1992. The program is part of a continuing education pattern for individuals willing to learn that began in the village and moved into the city of Pucallpa. The next step after CCB for those that want to continue is higher education in the city or elsewhere in Peru. The idea for the program was to enhance Biblical and lifestyle practices of the indigenous peoples in the upper Amazon River Basin. A major goal of the program is to help each student find his or her gifts and talents to use in helping their community, village, and church. Students and couples from 24 different tribal groups have studied at CCB. Most students come from very remote villages with many having to travel sometime up to two weeks by river by smaller aircraft of the mission agencies. The graduates have become schoolteachers, pastors, businesspeople, leaders in the community and several have become mayors of larger towns nearby.

Hearing tests were given by ENT team from the USA to the people in the vicinity of the Veradero Presbyterian Church in Cuba. The tests found that many people had hearing issues. The team fitted many people with hearing aids. Not only did they receive the hearing aids they also received a three-year supply of batteries for the hearing aids. Many of the elderly stated that after receiving the hearing aids they could now hear and have a conversation with their families for the first time in many years. The people were grateful to receive the free gifts of hearing aids and were most grateful to the people from the US that brought them. So many were over enjoyed they could not hold back the tears.
