Your Voice, Your Action Infrastructure Safety Contest: The YVYA The contest aimed to give young people a voice by hearing their opinions on what infrastructure improvements are needed in their neighborhoods to support safe walking, cycling, and equitable use of street spaces for all road users. The contest recruited over 120 youth from across the country to access their local community pedestrian environment, attend trainings on computer-aided design provided by Bentley Systems, and create recommended changes to their pedestrian environment.
