Chapters: In 2024, SMGA through its 8 chapters and our American Golfer Program, provided rehabilitative golf instructions to over 215 Veterans and Service Members. 180 of those Veterans completed the golf lessons and received a new set of custom-fitted golf clubs to match their individual requirements. The Atlanta Chapter sponsored their second Golf Tournament and Golf Clinic Series, providing lessons and clubs to 6 Veterans. Through our own tournaments as well as the tournaments run by our supporters, our Veterans had many opportunities to get out on the golf courses. Several of our lucky Veterans got to participate in events like Monday After the Masters, at Myrtle Beach, and some got to participate in Pro-Am events with PGA Golfers.
