GENERATOR PROGRAM THROUGH A PROGRAM APPROVED IN THE AMOUNT OF $3 MILLION BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, THE CORPORATION BOUGHT 2,082 GENERATORS AT AN APPROXIMATE COST OF $2.2 MILLION. THE CORPORATION SIGNED A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH A PRIVATE ENTITY ESTABLISHING THE RESPECTIVE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PARTIES IN RECEIVING AND DISTRIBUTING THE GENERATORS. A TOTAL OF 2,070 GENERATORS WERE DISTRIBUTED MOSTLY TO SMALL BUSINESS THROUGHOUT 50 MUNICIPALITIES IN PUERTO RICO. As of June 30, 2018, THE CORPORATION HAD A CLAIM FOR 10 GENERATORS THAT WERE NOT RECEIVED FROM THE SELLER AND DISCARDED 2 GENERATORS THAT WERE DAMAGED. Regarding the 2 discarded generators, one was repaired and donated to a non-for-profit entity. A total loss amounting to $12,255 was recognized regarding the generators which were never received or repaired.
