The Food Pantry Program - in cooperation with Interfaith Food Ministry and three local school districts - Established the county's first high school campus food pantry in February 2020, and have expanded to other campuses, including middle and elementary schools. Grass Valley Free Health Clinic - A 3-day free health clinic held for Nevada County residents. People receive medical, dental or vision services. Project Warmth collects and redistributes warm clothing every winter to those in need throughout Nevada County. Disaster Prep - Provide assistance and information about being prepared for year-round disasters. Health Care Support - United Way of Nevada County provides a variety of healthcare adjacent support including postage-paid packaging for medicines and sharps, free Narcan, and a discount prescription card. Farmworker Assistance - Distribute monetary funds from the USDA to frontline Farmworkers.
