During the 2024 fiscal year, the EDH Swim Team positively impacted approximately 400 kids, ages 4-18, residing in El Dorado County, CA, by providing professional swim coaching in a supportive, community-oriented team setting for a 3-month recreational swim season. In addition to the 400 swimmers on the team, we hosted meets for approximately 1,200 additional swimmers from the Sacramento region. 100 of our swimmers improved their technique, skills that will serve them for the rest of their lives, while also building strong friendships and good sportsmanship. We employed approximately 15 teenage coaches as volunteers and paid employees. We also hosted two 8-week skills clinics, servicing about 150 swimmers each. Lastly, we expanded Swimclusion, a first-in-the-region adaptive swim team for kids with special needs.
