SLIDING SCALE FAMILY LAW LEGAL SERVICES - OVER THE LAST 4 YEARS, FACLC HAS HAD A STEADY INCREASE IN REQUESTS FOR SERVICES. IN THE LAST 2 YEARS ALONE, WE HAVE RECEIVED OVER 1,100 REQUESTS FOR SERVICES. 70% OF OUR CASES HAD DIRECT LEGAL REPRESENTATION WITH 80% OF OUR CLIENTS HAVING 2-3 CHILDREN AND MAKING ON AVG. $3,000 GROSS MONTHLY INCOME. 90-95% OF OUR CLIENTS RECEIVE PUBLIC ASSISTANCE. FACLC IS THE ONLY OPTION FOR LOW-INCOME FAMILIES TO RECEIVE FAMILY LAW LEGAL REPRESENTATION IN MARIN.
