DAVIS WALDORF SCHOOL OFFERS WELL-ROUNDED, VIGOROUS ACADEMIC PROGRAMS, SERVICES AND EVENTS THAT PREPARE STUDENTS FOR THE REAL WORLD. WITH A CREATIVE AND ARTISTIC APPROACH TO LEARNING, STUDENTS DEVELOP A WIDE RANGE OF SKILLS AND APTITUDE THROUGH MAIN LESSON AND SUBJECT CLASSES INCLUDING EARLY CHILDHOOD EURYTHMY, HANDWORK, STRINGS, MUSIC, SPANISH, GARDENING, MATH, WOODWORKING, AND GAMES.FOR THE FY25 SCHOOL YEAR WE STARTED A ROBOTICS PROGRAM RUN BY PARENT VOLUNTEERS AND INCLUDED INSTRUCTION FROM STEVE HARVEY, THE FOUNDER OF THE DAVIS YOUTH ROBOTICS PROGRAM WHERE OUR CHILDREN WERE PART OF THE COMPETITION AND WON. WE BROUGHT BACK OUR SOCCER PROGRAM IN THE SPRING. WE HAD A ROBUST SEASONAL ELECTIVE PROGRAM INCLUDING CIRCUS ARTS, COOKING, FRENCH, MICROPUBLISHING, ACTING, WOODWORKING, AND EMBROIDERY.APPROXIMATELY 211.8 FTE STUDENTS ATTENDED DAVIS WALDORF SCHOOL FROM PRESCHOOL THROUGH 8TH GRADE IN THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR.
