Within the Foothill Girls Softball League banner, we have our Recreational League, our Select B Pprogram for girls who want a little more competitive play but want to stay within the Greater Sacramento area, and our Foothill Gold teams that are the A Travel Ball teams. In addition to our Spring League, we also have teams that participate in Fall Ball. Fall Ball is considered recreational but teams are required to travel to other nearby cities to play in weekend games. Our teams have been competitive enough to have finished in the top rankings. The Foothill Girls Softball League is very inclusive in that we provide the means, by way of scholarships, for any girl that wants to play but her family cant afford the registration. Additionally, we have initiated a donation station for parents whose daughters have outgrown their equipment or have aged out of the organization. This equipment is then given to players in need.
