Through yearly bipartisan meetings and conferences, the AGA brings together U.S. state Attorneys General and their staff to cultivate knowledge, cooperate on concerns, and coordinate actions to improve the quality of legal services. The principal conference is the Annual Meeting, but includes a variety of other meetings during the year. AGA gatherings vary in focus, but always include important public policy discussions, like cybercrime, and involve state and federal officials, as necessary. AGA activities also include Alliance Partnerships international Rule of Law trainings in non-grant funded areas.

Alliance Partnership Mexico:The Alliance Partnership Mexico (AP Mexico) is funded by a federal grant from INL (the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs), part of the U.S. State Department. AP Mexico provides legal training to Mexican prosecutors, investigators, forensic experts, and analysts to improve their ability to work together to investigate and prosecute crime. The programs improve the efficiency, transparency, and accuracy of the Mexican justice system while protecting individual rights. AP Mexico works to foster lines of communication between U.S. and Mexican state Offices of the Attorney General at the line and leadership levels to improve cooperation in the fight against transnational crime. It also educates the Mexican law enforcement community and public on the nature of Mexico's adversarial oral trial system. Finally, it supports INLs goals of collaboration among other Rule of Law grantees to ensure consistency across training programs.
