Gap Community Inc

The Gap Youth Training Services, Inc. is a California non-profit religious corporation formed in 1998 with the purpose of providing facilitative leadership for Christian youth workshops for young people ages 13-18 years old as well as adults. The workshops are designed to open people's eyes to see the value of who they are, their God-given uniqueness and what they have to contribute. The outcome is elevated self-esteem, a deeper sense of community, forgiveness, repentance, a closer connection with famiy , and empowerment to make choices based on the future that they are committed to having. The workshops are 2, 3, or 4 day experiential-based learning, including a ropes course, lectures, group discussion and worship time. To fulfill the purpose, we also train and develop facilitators for the workshops. This process to facilitate training opportunities that empower, inspire and resource individuals to come alive and create a lasting impact in their community. AccomplishmentsGAP Community has reached 1,152 individuals over the course of 2025 as training participants and team members. This was accomplished through the completion of 22 trainings in the U.S. and around the world that were open to the public, 7 in-house trainings for organizations or specific individuals. GAP Community as expanded its presence in South Korea and Kenya, and as continued training efforts online with Haiti and in-person in Zambia. GAP Community also led 2 additional offerings that included a Train the Trainer process over 5 months, a Coaches Academy over 3 months, and our second annual all-grad conferences on both coasts.
