Mission

Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition promotes bicycling as a central solution to many of the environmental, health, and social problems facing our community. We strive to make Sonoma County a safer place to ride a bike through a combination of education and advocacy. Our education programs teach children and adults how to ride safely and responsibly; other campaigns educate drivers on how to share the road responsibly. We partner with local and regional agencies to increase funding for bicycle infrastructure and advocate for bike-friendly plans and policies. We also organize encouragement programs and events designed to increase the number of people biking for everyday transportation.
