THE STINSON BEACH COMMUNITY HAS OUTGROWN ITS EXISTING FIRE STATION. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE STINSON BEACH FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, THE ASSOCIATION PARTICIPATED IN ACQUIRING LAND TO ADDRESS THIS CRITICAL NEED. THE ASSOCIATION RECEIVED A DONATION OF LAND, SPECIFICALLY SUITABLE FOR THE NEW FACILITY, AND CASH, TO ASSIST THE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT IN ITS ACQUSITION OF AN ADJOINING PLOT. DURING 2019, THE CASH ASSISTANCE WAS TRANSFERRED, AND THE LAND DEEDED, TO THE DISTRICT. SUBESEQUENTLY, THE DISTRICT ACQUIRED THE ADJOINING PLOT, AND THE TWO PARCELS WERE COMBINED. IN 2024 THE DISTRICT AND ASSOCIATION KICKED OFF A THREE TO FOUR YEAR CAPITAL CAMPAIGN TO RAISE FUNDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW FIRE STATION.
