THE WAIVER PROGRAM IS A STATE AND FEDERALLY FUNDED PROGRAM FOR INDIVIDUAL WITH INTELECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES WITH AN AGE ONSET BEFORE THE AGE OF TWENTY-TWO. THE WAIVER PROGRAM PROVIDES INDIVIDUALS THE OPPORTUNITY TO LIVE AS INDEPENDENTLY AS POSSIBLE IN THE COMMUNITY OF THEIR CHOOSING.
