Animal Aid Unlimited enables the work of the Animal Aid hospital and rescue service in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India as the region's only hospital and rescue center for street animals.Our helpline received 33,237 calls for rescue requests, an average of 101 calls per day. We rescued 17,723 ownerless animals from Udaipur and nearby villages. We admitted 12,897 animals into our hospital for treatment: 10,211 dogs and puppies; 1,058 cows and bulls and 1,628 donkeys, cats and other animals. We vaccinated every animal admitted against rabies and other common diseases. We completed 6,955 on site visits to provide medical treatment to animals in their neighbourhoods. We spayed / neutered 4,177 animals (a 50% increase compared to 2023. Visitors and volunteers have been coming regularly and we are working to increase their flow and amplify our outreach.
