Milpitas Youth Soccer League (MYSL) has over 750 youth each season, Spring and Fall, participating in its recreational and competitive soccer program within the city of Milpitas. MYSL's goal and mission is to educate each player in mental and physical fitness, to develop pride and community spirit, and to teach sportsmanship. MYSL uses city fields for practice, game days and hosts a recreational tournament twice a year. As a nonprofit operating within city limits, we contribute toward the maintenance of the fields and provide an outlet to keep youth healthy and safe. We also provide youth opportunities to learn teamwork and leadership skills as certified referees, offering a course for adults and youth age 13 years and older. MYSL is made up of community volunteers and provides youth opportunities to assist the club and become coaches as they age out of the program. MYSL is an integral part of the youth sports program in Milpitas offering year-round (Spring and Fall) a low-priced opportunity for youth ages 4 to 18 to learn and play the world game of soccer.
