PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO PROMOTE THE HIGHEST STANDARDS FOR SCHOOL BUSINESS EMPLOYEES BY CONDUCTING CONFERENCES TO PROVIDE QUALITY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES. A FALL CONFERENCE, WINTER CONFERENCE, SPRING BUDGET WORKSHOP, AND BOOTCAMP FOR THOSE NEW TO THEIR ROLE AS A SCHOOL BUSINESS OFFICIAL ARE HELD EACH YEAR. IN ADDITION, NUMEROUS OTHER CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS ARE OFFERED TO PROVIDE TRAINING ON CURRENT BUSINESS MANAGEMENT ISSUES. CERTIFICATION HOURS ARE GIVEN FOR PROFESSIONALS ATTENDING THE COURSES.
