Economic Investment OVAC provides vital financial resources to artists that support business growth and the expansion of their creative practices, thereby contributing to the states cultural and economic prosperity. In FY24, the Grants for Artists program awarded $16K in funding to 20 artists to purchase equipment or supplies, advance education, or create new projects. Through a partnership with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, the Thrive Grants program awarded $60K, supporting 437 artists to conduct large-scale collaborative community arts projects that were open and accessible to the public and served audiences of over 4,000. Artists also earn income through awards, honoraria, and sales commissions by participating in OVACs programming.

Art Crit Night is a free public event featuring local artists who present their work during a curator-led discussion. Photo Studio provides artists with professional images of their artwork to build their portfolio and enhance their online presence at an affordable cost. The Membership program connects subscribers to addtional resources and services to advance their professional development.
