These rants are awarded thru a selection process that is handled by the foundation's board and members of the district's administrative team. The foundation also receives matching grants from business partners within the community. Grants are awarded at the end of each school year to be used for the upcoming school year. The Slemaker Annual Golf Classic is a one day event that occurs at the end of May. The district also had another fundraiser to help supplement the golf tournament with What A Burger. They donated part of all sales to the foundation. Note the Slemaker Annual Golf Classic was not held due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
