THE ORGANIZATION IS INVOLVED DURING THE YEAR IN COMMUNITY EDUCATION BY PROMOTING THE ANNUAL SPRING LIVESTOCK SHOW THAT IS A FUNCTION OF THE LOCAL 4-H AND FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA CHAPTERS. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED RESOURCES THROUGH PREMIUM CASH BONUSES AND AWARDS TOTALING $370,252 TO 200 AREA YOUTHS. THE SHOW ALLOWS THE PARTICIPANTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW THEIR LIVESTOCK PROJECTS IN A COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT AGAINST OTHER YOUTHS. THE SALE PROCEEDS THAT THE STUDENTS RECEIVE ARE ACTUALLY A PREMIUM BONUS BECAUSE THESE STUDENTS RETAIN ALL OWNERSHIP TITLE TO THEIR LIVESTOCK PROJECTS.
