The Oklahoma Airmen Flying Club is a non-profit general aviation organization established in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1953. Our goal has always been to make flying accessible, affordable, safe and fun for as many aviation enthusiasts as possible. Our long-term goal is to continue to help more pilots achieve their aviation dreams by growing and expanding our club while keeping our membership fees low and affordable as we grow.

The raffle plane for 2025 was a 1972 Bellanca 7ECA, a highly desirable aircraft for pilots seeking a fun and affordable option for country flying. Powered by an 115 HP Lycoming O-235 engine, it boasts impressive aerobatic characteristics, even at maximum gross weight.The raffle process began in April 25, 2025 and involved acquiring the aircraft, followed by its reconditioning, which included new wing spars, avionics, upholstery, and annual inspection. The entire process and tasks associated with the raffle were managed by our aviation expert club members and trusted providers. The raffle drawing took place on October 11, 2025, coinciding with the club's 72nd anniversiary celebration. In the months leading up to the main event, additional prizes were raffled between June and October 2025. Participants who purchased raffle tickets also received a social membership to our club. The financial gains of the raffle can be verified in our financial statements. 5373 tickets were sold. Part of the initiatives tht align with our mission (promotion of safe aviation) is in the form of workshop style meetings, learning events, gatherings, and conversations, in which different topics of aviation safety are discussed. A recent example was our November 14th Probable Cause/AQP Safety presentation in which members and guests heard great information on how we can continue to increase safety in light general and sport aviation and drive down accidents and fatalities. More than 30% of our membership, as well as outside guests attended the event.
