Additionally, the Post conducts public ceremonies on Memorial Day and Flag Day, and has coordinated the Durango Veterans Day Parade for over 20 years. The Post hosts a Veterans Benefit breakfast on the first and third Sunday of each month. Donations support local veterans and families with rent and utilities, food and gas cards, scholarships, vehicle repair, dental and vision appointments and any other identified need not covered by other non profits or government agencies.
