2024 FY Program Accomplishments: -Supported 22 CHSSA-sanctioned sports at DHS by allocating $20,000 equitably to all sports -Purchased $16k of merchandise (umbrellas, blankets, insulated mugs, pom poms, and seat cushions) to sell at events and promote school spirit which included a partnership with local businesses to advertise their brands and sell our products at local establishments like Magpies Coffestand -Operated over 60 concession events selling food and drinks to patrons attending DHS athletic events which required time from over 200 volunteers over the course of the season. -Partnered with Ska to host a live watch party for the 2024 Hockey State Champions, Durango Demons by streaming the game live and donating all proceeds from the nights event back to the hockey program -Donated $6,400 to Durango High School for improvements to their sound system in the stadium -Helped the football program raise over $28,000 through crowdfunding partner, Vertical Raise -2024 was also the year we launched our Project Moonshot idea with the goal of raising over $100k to renovate the DHS weightroom and give the wrestling program new facilities within the school
