THE ALLIANCE SERVES THE NEEDS OF THE CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING COMMUNITY AND THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AND COMPETITIVE SKI PROGRAMS, SKI EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR 'AT RISK' YOUTH, ADULT TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR RECREATIONAL AND COMPETITIVE SKIERS, ACCESSIBLE AND AFFORDABLE GROOMED SKI TRAILS AT THE MOUNTAIN DELL RECREATION SKI AREA, DISTRIBUTION OF INFORMATION THROUGH THE NEWSLETTER, HOSTING CROSS-COUNTRY SKI RACES, AND OTHER RECREATIONAL AND COMPETITIVE EVENTS.
