Service to sorority encompasses the cost of executive board meetings, the annual volunteer leadership planning retreat, and the expenses related to providing administrative and management services to our 30 collegiate chapters located in the USA. Our organization is made up of 4 employees including a part-time programs director, and three part-time chapter health specialists, as well as 2 contractors, one serving as managing director and one serving as an administrative assistant. Additional contractors may be utilized for specialized projects. All other executive leaders and operational directors are not compensated for their service.

Service to members is a primary part of the mission of Omega Phi Alpha. The sorority provides service to its members through fellowship and leadership programs offered at collegiate chapters. Service to members also includes producing and distributing the free national magazine to over 6,000 lifetime members and the cost of maintaining the national website. As of June 30, 2024, Omega Phi Alpha had 1,035 active members in 29 collegiate chapters.

Service to community consists of thousands of hours of service to the community by current chapters of Omega Phi Alpha in areas where they live and to the university campuses where they are located. Supplies are needed for such ventures as well as direct monetary support of community programs. During the fiscal year 2024-2025, the members of the sorority conducted or participated in service projects for a total of 49,353 service hours.
